Обновлён баланс и добавлен Chaos как игровой персонаж(в Uni он был второстепенным персонажем). Позже был представлен новый гостевой персонаж Akatsuki(игра Akatsuki blitzkampf), который дополнил игровой ростер персонажей. Nanase и Byakuya присоединятся к игровому ростеру персонажей в консольной версии игры.

Сюжет

Since time immemorial, the organization known as the “Night Blade” has acted as guardians in what is known as the “Hollow Night”. While resting from her eternal labors in a non-descript town that the Princess of the Night Blade, Linne, meets a young boy named Hyde, who is in possession of the fabled sword of destiny that she has been searching far and wide for. lyne-story-bgIn the Hollow Night, monsters called Voids feed upon the power that manifests there, while those known as In-births use that same power for their own ends. While investigating the reason behind the sudden increase in the numbers of both Voids and In-births in the Hollow Night, Linne hears of an evil plot being hatched by someone calling themselves “Paradox”. This person turns out to be none other than Hilda, the leader of a shadowy organization known as “Amnesia”. Vowing to stop “Paradox” before her nefarious plans come to fruition, Linne heads off into the Night. Unbeknownst to her, the young boy she encountered, Hyde, follows behind her with a desperate need to know who, and what, she is. And thus, the story of the Hollow Night, and In-births, begins–

New Elements:

• Chaos added as a playable character
• Force Function added
• Guard Thrust added
• 2 new stages added
• New modes: Normal Mode, Score Attack, Time Attack and Training Mode
• In-Birth Front gained support of "In-Birth Points" and all kinds of customization.

Changes:

• Width of the stages has been increased
• Character's can't move anymore move before the round starts
• Universal nerfs in each character's health and damage
• Assault no longer consumes EXS
• Jump attacks are now overheads only during the descending part of a jump
• Pratfall mechanics removed
• Auto Recovery removed (Aerial Recovery is now invincible until you land, but you can't move in the air)
• Recovery options increased: Ground Backward Roll added. Aerial Forward, Neutral and Backward.
• "Recover Correction Value" added which changes the length of combos.
• Particular invincibilities added to certain moves, like "invincible only against projectiles"
• If an aerial attack is now Shielded, the user can't move anymore before they land.
• Guard Shield now pushes the opponent away from the user.
• Wallbounce limit on combo dropped to 1 wallbounce. Instant recovery if used twice in a combo.
• If a Veil Off hits the opponent during a combo, it won't cause a GRD Break but destroys Vorpal state instead.

• Vatista's floating (j.A+B) fixed
• Special attacks added that appears when you use Vatista's Sidereus Fragmentum four times in a combo
• Hilda's Force Function animation modified
• Huge meter gain when use Carmine's 3C at certain times has been fixed
• Accuracy of Chaos' "Sidle up" fixed.

Ver. 2.03 (August 4th 2014)

• Исправлен баг, при котором ассаулт-атаки сохраняли рекавери приземления.
• Исправлен баг, при котором некоторые броски промахивались в углу (убран инфинит Waldstein).
• Исправлен баг, при котором Turbulence Гордо получал больший рендж, когда он слева.
• Исправлен баг, при котором EX Renkoudan Akatsuki вёл себя странно, когда он делает его по врагу в хитстане и отменяет Chain Shift'ом.
• Другие незначительные исправления системы:
• Персонажи были переставлены местами на экране выбора
• Chaos поменялись места из второго ряда 2P c Hilda 1P
• Eltnum поменялась 1P стороной с Akatsuki 2P
• Akatsuki получил аннонсера при победе
